ONLINE BIBLE STUDIES

Preaching the Gospel across the country

Birth of the Studies

Summer camps, winter camps, sports tournaments, Champions Weekends, MIA College — events were our heartbeat. They were how we met young people, built trust, and kept discipleship alive year-round.

Covid stopped all of that. And in the silence, we had to ask ourselves: what now?

The answer? Adapt. We took our ministry online — launching study groups led by teams of three counselors, reaching young people across Romania and beyond for both evangelism and spiritual growth. Two to three times a year, youth from every corner of the country — and the world — come together. Covid didn’t stop us. It expanded us.

Structure

Our Bible studies are currently online through the zoom platform. However, we plan for them to continue in person once the regulations are lifted. Each group is led by three counselors: the Biblical counselor, the Evangelistic counselor, and the Spiritual counselor.

Evangelistic Counselor

Biblical Counselor

Spiritual Counselor

This counselor keeps the group running — logistics, promotion, attendance — but their greatest role is personal: teaching each participant to share the Gospel using the Three Circle Method. If someone isn’t a Christian yet, that’s not a problem. It’s an open door.

This counselor prepares and teaches the weekly Bible study, keeping participants grounded in God’s Word. Beyond the lesson, they also invest in each individual — modeling and teaching the discipline of a daily quiet time and why it matters.

This counselor keeps the group’s heart beating. As the prayer leader, they open each meeting in prayer and personally reach out to every participant during the week — listening, encouraging, and lifting their needs before God. They also invest in each person’s story, teaching them to share their testimony and creating space for one to do so every week.

Long-Term Vision

These groups have multiplied our reach in ways events alone never could — young people hearing the Gospel weekly, through leaders who look just like them. And this is bigger than a pandemic response. Our vision is for these trained leaders to become the youth leaders their local churches are missing, hosting meetings, building community, and ministering where there was no one before.

We plan to continue these groups even when the pandemic fades away. Our vision is for these groups to develop leaders who can begin to plan and host “youth meetings” with their group members and other youth from their community. Essentially, we want these leaders to become the “youth leaders” of their local churches who do not have anyone ministering specifically to young people.

Until summer begins, over X participants are working their way through Philippians in an inductive Bible study — meeting weekly and letting Scripture speak for itself.

Our Next Studies and How You Can Partner With Us

Do you want to partner with us in providing study books for each participant of our studies? Every 6 weeks we send a new study book that the groups are going through. This becomes a big expense for our ministry. You can make a special donation towards this here or purchase a t-shirt and provide four books for our groups!

We have two studies beginning in November, one for youth and one for kids. Our youth study will be an inductive Bible study through the life of Joseph. Our kids study will look at the various names of God throughout the Bible and their meanings which give context and clarity to who our God is.
