Staff Spotlight: Who is Iulia?
Our staff is what keeps our ministry running day in and day out. We are so grateful for each one of them and that God has orchestrated our lives to intersect as we all feel called to reach the next generation with the Gospel.
We now want to highlight one of our great staff members, Iulia. She has been working with us since 2016 and is such a blessing to us and the students we minister to. In the summer of 2016, she was volunteering to lead her church’s children and youth ministry and attended Camp MIA with a group of children from her church. While she was at our camp she felt God leading her to work for LIFE Romania full-time in some capacity.
In the past four years, she has served with us in many areas. She has run logistics through organizing camps and events and lead the girls discipleship program. However, in this new season of online ministry being our focus, she is now coordinating our online Bible studies. She organizes all the details of our leaders and the participants who are signing up. In addition, she specifically works with our evangelistic counselors who she meets with weekly as a group and individually. With the help of evangelism tools and methods, she is teaching the leaders how to share the Gospel, and those counselors are teaching all of their groups how to do the same.
“Young people who are dedicated to the Lord can be some of the best witnesses. As I organize the online Bible studies and teach leaders how to evangelize to their friends, I can’t help but think of the impact of hundreds of youth sharing the Gospel!”
YEAR END GIVING CONSIDERATIONS!
- We are sending a new study book to every participant of our Bible Study groups. That means 300+ books, postage, and envelopes! We need more funds to help support this project.
- We are still raising funds to pay for our two new cameras we will purchase by the end of the year. This is a necessary step to allow us to continue to promote and capture all the work God is doing. Each camera costs $2,700
- We need more funds to pay for our online development. We have to use new online platforms that cost more money and even have dreams of creating an app or new website for our discipleship program. This could cost us upward of $3,000.
