My passion for Christ is discipleship and youth camps!

The last 15 years of my life I have been studying, working as a youth pastor, and ministering—searching and questioning myself. How does God want to reach Romania for Christ? I believe with all my heart the answer to that question is through a Godly, solid, youth ministry.

I was born and raised in an orthodox family but knew very little about God beyond going to Church on Christmas and Easter with my mom. In spite of this lack of knowledge, I always knew that there was a God. I would pray every night before going to bed because of the problems between my parents.

By God's unconditional love, after many years of drifting, a friend of mine invited me to go to a Word of Life Bible Club. I heard a message that really affected me and changed my life. The message described how each of us has a number of different masks that we use to present ourselves to the world—how we wear a different mask depending upon who we are with. I realized that no matter how many masks I have it is impossible to hide who I really am from God. I realized that I was a sinner and I deserved to go to hell. At the end of the message, the speaker talked about God’s love and how He gave His only begotten Son for me because He loves me and He doesn’t want me to be separated from Him. I understood that Jesus died, was buried, and raised again for me. In that moment, January 16, 1999, I received Jesus Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior.

Two years later I attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in Hungary where God gave me the opportunity to serve as a resident assistant and leader of one of the English Bible Clubs. After graduation, God opened a door for me to go to Temple Baptist Seminary, in Chattanooga, TN. There I completed a Master of Ministry degree in May 2005. I am currently working towards a Doctorate of Educational Ministry at Andersonville Theological Seminary.

I live in Bucharest, Romania with my wife, Roxana, and our two boys, Julian & Eric, where we continue to serve through mobilizing youth camps and developing small group bible studies.
